Job Description:

Remote - Anywhere UK, with international deployment

Airbotics Talent has partnered with a leading UK drone platform provider that operates on an international scale with world-class technology. Our client has won several large international projects, requiring the hiring of two Drone Pilots / Operators motivated to work overseas on a rotation basis.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to operate cutting-edge fixed-wing drones in an international environment on critical commercial and humanitarian missions.

You will be responsible for pre-flight mission planning, conducting risk assessments, developing ConOps, and ensuring safety standards compliance. Additionally, you will collect field data, perform basic UAV maintenance and repairs, and complete required documentation. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will support other operators and colleagues in the field to deliver complex missions and shared goals, as well as support broader training and development.

Requirements

  • A passion for aviation technology and a safety-conscious approach
  • Experience in operating/piloting drones in a commercial or military (preferred) setting
  • A positive, team-focused attitude supporting others to reach goals
  • Currently based in the UK with the relevant right to work
  • The ability to spend 4-6 weeks away from home in the field, both domestically and internationally
