Surveyor/ Site Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are on the lookout for an experienced Earthworks Engineer for a client based in the North East.

The business are a well-renowned Earthworks and Civil Engineering contractor, working on projects mainly in the North East but there may be times that you would be working further afield.

Ideally you will have experience of large scale earthworks projects, as well as the use of Drone equipment to carry out the surveys.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of on-site survey information, including; topographical survey observations and geospatial monitoring observations.

  • Ensure setting out and quality assurance of the works is completed in accordance with the contract requirements in a timely manner.

  • Management and instruction of Assistant Engineering Surveyors, including briefing and guidance.

  • Preparing relevant risk assessments with regards to survey works.

    Experience Required

  • Candidates should have proven experience at Site Engineer level on Earthworks prjects

  • Ability to present and process data

  • Minimum qualification of HNC/HND, however a construction related degree is preferred

  • CSCS, First Aid and Full Driver’s License.

  • Previous use of Totalstations and Robotic equipment

  • Experience of Drone Surveys/Drone Mapping

    Remuneration

    On offer is a package of £35,000 - £45,000 (dependant on experience) plus a vehicle
