About the role?

Ready to make your mark in the world of cutting-edge Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology? We’re looking for a dynamicFibre Engineerto help us build and expand our ambitious fibre network across the Midlands region.

What you will be doing?

Test & Troubleshoot Fibre Networks:Dive into fibre testing and fault finding to keep our network at its best.

Master the Hardware:Build cabinets, patch panels, and perform essential patching tasks with precision.

Design & Execute:Work with splicing plans and schematics, ensuring flawless execution of fibre installations.

Hands-On Installation:Install sub-duct and blown fibre cables on our core routes, pulling 6-core fibre cables on our Passive Optical Network routes.

Create Connections:Introduce fibre to UG nodes and AFNs (Aerial Fibre Nodes), and construct fibre cable joints at cutting-edge nodes.

Lead & Train:Build your expertise while helping to lead and train fellow engineers.

Be a Safety Champion:Promote a strong safety culture as our Health & Safety ambassador—always keeping an eye on quality, standards, and legislation.
