FullStack Developer

    IT Talent is representing a fast-growing, Berkshire-based tech-led business known for delivering high-impact digital and AV solutions across a range of sectors. They combine creative thinking with smart engineering and have carved out a strong niche at the intersection of physical tech, user experience, and modern software development.

    The business is now looking for a Mid-level Full Stack Developer with a DevOps mindset.

    You’ll be working on a variety of greenfield projects, shaping scalable, production-grade apps from the ground up. Whether it’s collaborating with designers, squashing bugs, or fine-tuning the dev toolkit. Your contribution will be central to a team that blends creativity with sharp technical execution. You’ll join a small, high-trust team led by a hands-on Tech Director who knows what good looks like. With plenty of room to grow and a clear path into leadership, this isn’t just another dev job - it’s a genuine launchpad for the next step in your career.

    The role is predominantly onsite, 4 to 5 days a week, at their smart and collaborative Berkshire office (near Reading), with flexibility for some hybrid working further down the line.

    What you’ll do
    You’ll build modern, scalable software using Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript and React.
    You’ll own your work end-to-end – from design and architecture to release and maintenance.
    You’ll write clean, testable code and contribute ideas to improve the way things are done.
    You’ll collaborate daily with designers, product folk and other devs.
    You’ll help drive quality and performance across every part of the stack.
    You’ll also play a key part in shaping future products – this team loves fresh thinking.

    What you’ll need
    You know your way around Node.js, TypeScript and React (Next.js experience is a bonus).
    You’ve worked with both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (like DynamoDB).
    You’re confident working with RESTful APIs and microservices.
    You’re logical, analytical, and a bit of a bug-squashing wizard.
    You’re a good communicator – no lone wolves here.

    Nice to have
    Experience with AWS
    Familiarity with Agile/Kanban environments
