Are you an experienced Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Controller looking for your next challenge? Do you want to play a crucial role in supporting high-tech naval defence projects?

Insignis Talent is partnering with a leading multi-national Maritime Defence company that delivers advanced solutions across UK naval fleets and allied navies worldwide. Their innovations span surface, sub-surface, and unmanned platforms, making a real impact on the future of naval warfare.

They are now seeking a GFE Controller to join their team on a permanent basis at their site in Buckinghamshire. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and tracking assets critical to defence operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing the receipt, storage, tracking, and distribution of all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).

Ensuring GFE records are accurately maintained and updates are processed within agreed timeframes.

Working closely with Programme Management and Commercial teams to define and fulfil GFE requirements.

Investigating and resolving discrepancies, liaising with MoD Project Teams and internal stakeholders.

Overseeing the GFE storeroom, ensuring all asset movements are tracked and accounted for.

Supporting audits, stock checks, and inventory management, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory standards.

Preparing and submitting key reports, including Quarterly D694 & Annual F32 Reports for the MoD.

Acting as the primary point of contact for all GFE-related matters.

What We're Looking For:

Essential - Experience working with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).

Ideal - Background in the Defence industry.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, work with stakeholders, and meet tight deadlines.

A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field is preferred, but not essential.

Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
