Head of PMO – Salisbury (Hybrid) – £80,000 + Benefits

With a cutting-edge portfolio of aerospace projects andheavy investment into growth, this organisation is seeking an experienced Head of PMO tobring structure, strategy, and scalabilityto its project management operations.

You’ll have the autonomy toshape how projects are delivered, establish governance frameworks, andimplement the right tools and processesto ensure seamless execution across a broad range of engineering and technology programmes.

The organisation desing and manufacture cutting edge UAVs for civilian and military use.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building & Leading the PMO– Establish and scale thefirst fully integrated PMO function, ensuring a structured and best-practice approach to project governance.
  • Defining & Implementing Processes– DevelopPM methodologiesthat fit a fast-moving, high-tech environment.
  • Project Planning & Scheduling– Work closely with Programme Managers to ensure seamlessresource allocation, risk management, and schedule tracking.
  • Selecting & Deploying PM Tools– Evaluate, implement, andembed new project management softwarethat enhances efficiency.
  • Strategic Oversight– Provide high-level reporting,drive decision-making, andengage with senior leadershipon project performance and risk.
  • Process Improvement & Change Management– Lead theevolution of project controls, ensuringseamless integration across teams and departments.

Ideally you'll hit the ground running by utilising your previous history of leading a PMO, being involved in their establishment and your deep understanding of project planning etc.
