Job Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on leader to oversee production processes and ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing activities in our UK location. This role requires a combination of management, coordination, and continuous improvement skills to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. You will be responsible for overseeing teams across various departments, implementing production rules, managing recruitment needs, and driving ERP software improvements. If you are a problem-solver with strong leadership abilities and experience in industrial engineering, we want you on our team.

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Production Efficiency: Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of production processes and auxiliary tasks.
  • Production Rules: Define and implement production operating rules, including schedules, purchasing, stock management, team formation, training, waste management, etc.
  • System Implementation: Implement and monitor production, quality, hygiene, and workplace safety management systems.
  • Team Development: Develop the skills and competencies of the engineering team, section leaders, and the broader team through internal and external training and mentoring.
  • Recruitment Needs: Define and justify recruitment needs to ensure production operates smoothly according to the defined goals.
  • Coordination Across Sections: Ensure coordination between all production sections at different company sites: machining, lamination, finishing and painting, motors, gimbals, electronics, integration, auxiliary systems, ground segment, GCS, validation, etc.
  • Set Goals: Establish medium-term objectives and prepare the team for necessary evolution.
  • Production Planning: Monitor and assist with operational production planning.
  • Continuous Improvement: Focus on continuous improvement in the implementation of ERP software.
  • Meet Deadlines: Ensure tasks and delivery deadlines are consistently met.
  • Safety: Ensure workplace safety for the team, preventing and correcting risky behaviors and improper use of equipment.
  • Communication: Maintain assertive communication with colleagues from other sections.
  • Team Motivation: Contribute to creating and being part of a motivated, productive, and disciplined team.

Profile and requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, or similar.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer tools (Word, Excel, etc.), ERP systems experience is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
    Goal-Oriented: Ability to meet production goals and deadlines effectively.
  • Leadership: Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Resilience & Proactivity: Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Quality Knowledge: Knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
  • Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in English, with proven fluency at the C2 level.
