We are currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Design Engineer to join a prestigious global engineering firm in London. Role Overview:

In this role, you will be instrumental in the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering projects, with a focus on a diverse range of developments, including mixed-use complexes, residential areas, shopping centres, and educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Engineering: Assist in the creation and modification of engineering documents such as specifications, reports, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans, utilizing tools like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Site Evaluation: Review maps, reports, and aerial photos to analyse soil composition, terrain, hydrological features, and topography to assess the potential impacts on project planning and design.
Permitting & Compliance: Contribute your knowledge of local, state, and federal land use permitting to ensure projects meet regulatory requirements.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside a dedicated team, contributing to project tasks and ensuring efficient project delivery.
Additional Duties: Take on a variety of tasks as needed to ensure the successful completion of all engineering requirements.

Key Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: At least 6 years of hands-on experience in civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and erosion control.
Software: Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
