About the Role:

As our Pupil Recruitment Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring our school continues to thrive and grow. You will be the first point of contact for many families, playing a crucial role in creating an exceptional first impression and converting enquiries into successful enrolments.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospective Pupil Engagement: Proactively engage with prospective parents and pupils, understanding their needs and effectively communicating the distinctive benefits of a private school education at our Blackburn institution.

Admissions Process Management: Guide families through every stage of the admissions process, from initial enquiry and school visits to application submission and enrolment.

Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong, lasting relationships with prospective families, ensuring a personalised and supportive experience.

School Ambassador: Act as a key ambassador for the school, representing our values and ethos with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.

Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of recruitment events, such as Open Mornings, Taster Days, and private tours.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all admissions enquiries and applications using our school management system.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Admissions, Senior Leadership Team, and academic staff to ensure a cohesive and effective recruitment strategy.

Market Insight: Stay informed about local educational trends and competitor activity to inform recruitment efforts.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Proven experience in a recruitment, sales, or customer service role, ideally within an educational setting or a high-value service environment.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.

Interpersonal Skills: A natural ability to connect with people, build rapport, and demonstrate empathy.

Organisational Skills: Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
