We are working with a leading engineering and hire business looking to appoint a Revit Specialist to support the delivery of complex pump and pipework solutions.

This is a key technical role within their design function, creating robust digital models that support high-value, logistically challenging installations for water and environmental projects.

The Revit Specialist will take concept information from Solutions Managers, build accurate 3D models, and translate them into clear 2D drawings once designs are signed off.

Projects are often reactive and require initiative – from surveying sites without existing plans to creating workable models that can be turned around quickly for customers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Build accurate 3D models of pumping and pipework applications in Autodesk Revit (or other advanced 3D modelling tools)

Turn models into detailed 2D drawings and construction documentation once designs are approved

Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, and Project Delivery teams to ensure scope and objectives are accurately represented in the models

Adapt to reactive project requirements, delivering models quickly to support customer timelines

Survey sites and translate Point Cloud/drone data into usable models (experience preferred)

Maintain version control and ensure models are consistent and updated with any changes

Optimise large, complex models to ensure smooth performance and practical site use

Produce custom families, templates, and standards for consistency across projects

Provide visualisations and client-facing material to support technical proposals

Keep up to date with the latest modelling features and BIM best practices

The successful candidate work with technical teams, project managers, and installation crews to provide digital representations that reduce risk, save costs, and ensure practical site solutions.

Skills & Experience Required:

HNC/HND in CAD/Engineering or equivalent experience

Strong experience in 3D modelling – ideally Revit, but AutoCAD, Fusion, Inventor, or similar will also be considered

Proven ability to build complex models and translate them into accurate drawings

Background in landscape, plumbing, or utilities environments preferred

Experience with Point Cloud modelling and drone data highly desirable

Confident working to tight deadlines, adaptable, and proactive in approach

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn independently

Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating across technical, operational, and customer-facing teams

Full UK driving licence (pool/hire cars available for travel as needed)

Summary:

Position:      Revit Specialist

Location:   Chandlers Ford

Type:             Permanent, full-time (office-based with some hybrid flexibility)

Salary:         £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Start:             Notice dependent

If you’re an experienced 3D modeller looking to apply your skills on real-world engineering challenges – creating practical solutions for complex installations, this is a role where you’ll see your work make a direct impact!
