Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the Remote Pilot In Command in the delivery of UAS operationsEnsuring operations comply with necessary regulations and maintaining detailed recordsEnforcing adherence to company safety protocols and best practicesAssisting UAS operators with flight planning, pre-flight inspections, and post-flight debriefingsProviding emergency response guidance in the event of system failures or unexpected hazardsTraining and mentoring UAS operators on best practices and risk mitigation strategiesThe Ideal CandidateTo be successful as a Safety Pilot, you will need:Aviation knowledge, including Ground School and live flying experienceUnderstanding of meteorology and airspaceA1 and A3 certificates (CAA/EASA)A pilot's license (LAPL/PPL/HPL) and an A2 Certificate of CompetenceAn engineering license and MALE/HALE UAS Platform CertificationA Flight Radiotelephony Operating LicenseExperience with MUAS/MALE platforms, military flying, or instructional dutiesEligibility to hold SC clearance and a willingness to undergo the vetting processWhy Join This Company?This company is the leading developer of Unmanned Aerial Systems for maritime surveillance in the Defence sector.
