Role Overview:

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business and accelerating revenue growth by selling our innovative platform into the business lending sectors. You’ll work closely with lenders, and financial institutions, understanding their needs and demonstrating how our solution can transform their operations and improve financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and target high-potential clients in the UK business lending markets, driving new customer acquisition.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a robust sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets, with a focus on strategic selling and long-term client relationships.

  • Consultative Selling: Engage with C-level executives, finance teams, and key decision-makers to understand their challenges and position our platform as the ideal solution.

  • Product Demos: Lead product demonstrations, showcasing the value of our financial data analytics platform and tailoring presentations to address specific client needs.

  • Market Insights: Stay up-to-date on market trends across financial services, identifying opportunities for product positioning and potential market expansion.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Managing Director, marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, product improvements, and client onboarding.

  • Pipeline Management: Effectively manage a pipeline of prospects through the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior leadership.

    Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven Sales Experience: 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably within the financial technology, commercial / alternative lending sectors.

  • Strong Network: Established relationships and knowledge of the UK business lending markets is a significant advantage.

  • Consultative Sales Approach: Demonstrated ability to engage with senior decision-makers, uncover client needs, and provide tailored solutions.

  • Track Record of Success: Consistent history of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.

  • Excellent Communication: Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts simply and persuasively.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfort with SaaS platforms, CRM tools, and data-driven sales approaches.

  • Self-Motivated: A proactive, results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision
