We’re recruiting Section Engineers to join the M27 Junction 10 project, a scheme which will transform the area for future development supporting Welborne Village and new commercial space. The contractor is renowned for their culture, excellence in delivery and development of people.

The Section Engineer will join a driven project team and work on some technically challenging and exciting pieces of engineering. Experience in heavy civils will be favourable to support the development of junior engineers.

The main scope of works will consist of a large excavation, construction of a dual carriageway, balancing ponds and an impressive 9500tn reinforced concrete box (underpass through the motorway) which will be slid into place post demolition of a section of the motorway.

The project will run until early 2026 and upon completion you will have the opportunity to join another major project in Hampshire (M3 Junction 9) with underpasses, bridges and major roads, circa £200m.

Section Engineer duties:

  • Setting out and surveying (Total Station & GPS)

  • Day-to-day management of a team of engineers overseeing a section of works

  • Produce as built drawings in AutoCAD

  • Quality control throughout construction process and ITP check sheets

  • Problem solving design changes, material changes.
