We are recruiting on behalf of a Civil and Structural Consulting Engineering company in Barnsley who are looking for an experienced Revit Technician to join their close-knit team.

About the role:
You will be a technician in a small team:

  • Utilising the Autodesk AEC software suite, including, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and more.
  • Producing models and information to a standard of BIM level 2 and beyond, coordinating multidisciplinary models and information from subcontractors, as well as managing technicians, and checking drawings, to ISO 19650.
  • Developing new workflows, using Rhino/Grasshopper to develop parametric 3D models.
  • Opportunity to become a GVC certified drone pilot, to undertake ariel cloud point scanning.
  • With the opportunity to carry out LIDAR surveys and Scan2BIM processes.
  • Broadening your understanding and developing your skills of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
  • Client-facing, attending design team meetings, and site visits.
  • Working on projects across the Residential, Industrial, Commercial, Leisure and Rail sectors.
  • With responsibilities across multiple projects and for the management of our ISO 9001 quality management system.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting project deadlines and budgets
  • Upholding strict quality standards of work
  • Abiding by ISO 9001 and 19650 requirements
  • Communicating effectively with clients, supply chains, stakeholders and colleagues
