We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Site Engineer within the Drainage team. This role will be based on site in Warwickshire. Building a 12.5km stretch covering areas in Leamington Spa, Coventry, and Solihull. The sublot is responsible for the creation of viaducts, over bridges and, under bridges as well as a retaining structure at Stoneleigh Park Business Park. Sublot 2A is the southern most section of mainline. The sublot extends north from Southam through Warwickshire up towards Kenilworth.

Experienced required :

• Civil Engineering Degree

• Drainage experience

• Produce accurate records

• Driving Licence

• Experience working in UK

Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and then on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Overall, we will be building the following across all our sites:

• 9.3km of viaducts

• 62 overbridges

• 35 cuttings

• 56 culverts

• 62 embankments

• 2 twin bore tunnels and 2 cut and cover tunnels

• 28 underbridges and 11 underpasses

Site Engineer – Compliance - PSV Structure

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Site Engineer- Compliance within the Precast Segment Viaduct section of works.

This role will be based on site in Water Orton, The project’s most complex network of structures in the West Midlands, this sublot includes the Delta Junction – a triangular section of the high-speed railway made up of nine precast segmental viaducts, embankments, and other bridging structures, with around 10km of track crossing a network of motorways, roads and rivers.

Experience needed :

• Experienced as a Site Engineer on Civil Engineering major construction projects ideally Bridges/ Structures

• Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately. 

• Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity, including managing others in this regard.

• Strong work ethic 

• Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card. SSSTS or SMSTS qualified.

• Excellent team player and team leader, able to work competently and autonomously without supervision

. Reports back as necessary to update Line Management

• Strong communication skills with track record of solution orientated approach to issue resolution.
