They are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Site Supervisor to join us on a full-time basis at their head office near Woking.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced landscaper, gardener, or groundworker who wants to broaden their skills and take on more responsibilities. Previous experience with invasive plants is a plus but not essential. The job is based on-site and involves some manual work, so you need to be fit. You will also need to travel for short periods to help with jobs and support other teams across the UK.

  • As our projects are usually short-term, each day is different, especially when it comes to personal interactions.

  • We aim to provide excellent customer service, focusing on building and maintaining relationships. A helpful attitude is essential.

  • To keep our high standards and follow legal guidelines, it's important to stick to our established procedures.

  • We need a good communicator who can motivate and understand others’ needs and concerns.

  • Open, effective communication is crucial. We prefer a persuasive, helpful communication style rather than a directive one.

  • We work as a team, and the leader should be ready to get involved and help out when needed.

  • Leading by example with hands-on experience in the field is important.

  • Strong and friendly follow-up on delegated tasks is necessary to ensure they are done properly.

    Responsibilities:

  • The job involves the removal and/or herbicide treatment of invasive plants such as Japanese knotweed and bamboo from both domestic and commercial properties. We planting, pruning, and vegetation clearance, mainly as part of reinstatement works.

  • You will be responsible for running all works on site, ensuring Environet’s high standards are met, whilst ensuring jobs are completed on time and on budget.

    • You will need to Build rapport with our customers, engaging them and keeping them informed on progress during works and monitoring visits.

    • Complete and sign off site paperwork

    • Work closely with our office-based Contracts Manager to ensure the smooth running of jobs

    • Manage, train and encourage site team, including subcontractors as necessary

      Qualifications and Experience

      We are ultimately looking for a good fit to our business over qualifications, however there are a few essential things we need you to have:

  • Full driving licence (<6 points)

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office 365 PA1 PA6 Pesticide Application

    Key qualifications of benefit, but not essential include:



* CSCS card / SSSTS

* Emergency First Aid at Work

* Chainsaw/Chipper/Brush cutter

* CPCS/LANTRA 360 Excavator qualification

* £31,500 - £33,000 DOE- 37.5hr Contract.
