Area to be covered: South West London (Chelsea, Fulham, Clapham Wandsworth, Putney, Wimbledon, Streatham, Sutton, Croydon, Twickenham & Kingston)

Remuneration: £45,000 + up to 10% bonus

Benefits: Company car, pension, health care, death in service, 20 days annual leave

The role of the Site Technician – Flat Roofing Systems will involve:

  • Site Technician position dealing with the installation of various flat roof systems such as; felt roofing, green roofing systems, bitumen membranes, hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, structural waterproofing etc

  • Building and fostering relationships within our clients’ approved roofing contractor network

  • Training of Approved Contractor operatives, ensuring the content of the training and quality of delivery are to the highest possible standard

  • Oversee site installation monitoring, across all flat roofing and waterproofing systems

  • Ensure highest levels of workmanship are upheld

  • Delivering hands on training for approved contractor operatives

  • Carrying out site inspections for multiple on-going projects

  • Complete and distribute inspection reports following site inspections and quickly communicating any issues that require immediate attention

  • Acting as an intermediary to assist the project team and contractors in resolving issues

    The ideal applicant will be a Site Technician – Flat Roofing Systems with:

  • Must have installation experience working with various flat roofing systems such as: felt roofing, green roofing systems, bitumen membranes; hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, structural waterproofing etc.

  • Must have extensive experience with bitumen

  • Experienced in delivery of Training - Train the Trainer qualification advantageous

  • Strong technical skills

  • Full UK driving license

  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
