Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: You will be supporting 2 females and 1 male with learning disabilities who are coming out of residential care into this supported living setting which is a three story house in Dronefield. As part of this exciting opportunity you will be required to support with the transition work to ensure it is a positive experience for all of the people supported. The role includes working on a rota basis including day shifts, night shifts and sleep ins. The people here love going out and about especially shopping and bowling, the families are really important to the people supported so you must be able to build positive trusting relationships. Your values: We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is whywe're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ valuesandwe recruit people from all walks of life; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
