Infinity Employment are seeking an experienced Trade Counter Sales Consultant for a company based in Portsmouth specialising in thermal energy accessories, supplying customers based locally and nationally. The role involves assisting customers with advice and guidance on product selection. On occasion field sales are required, liaising with customers, along with taking orders from new and existing companies. Must be confident in themselves and must be able to demonstrate good communication skills. Must have a driving licence and their own vehicle.

Permanent role.

Monday to Friday- 9am- 5pm

Pay: £25,000 - £30,000.00 per year depending on experience plus commission and mileage.

Main responsibilities:

  • Confident in negotiating annual price increases, increase revenue with up-selling skills and extracting other areas of business within current and prospective clients.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Provide an accurate service in line with pricing and budgets to match the customer needs.

  • Quoting and liaising with customers in the field

  • Build long term relationships through occasional face to face visits along with video calls.

  • Add new and existing customers onto the companies CRM system and website with individual pricing

  • Attend regular reviews to discuss results in line with your KPI's, opportunities to discuss feedback on your progress, and captured, on our CRM system.

  • Advising customers of any new product/promotions, relating to any marketing campaigns. Follow up on calls, campaigns and offer any additional sales tools we can offer.

  • Achieve your individual sales targets through KPI's

  • Resolving customer issues thoroughly with the relevant teams

  • Recording details and creating a business a diary program in line with GDPR.

  • Expand your client base and spend in line with agreed company target

    Experience required:

  • Sales experience, key account and business development skills are essential

  • Has the ability to resolve problems and to be persuasive, to enable you to up sell and cross sell products

  • Confident and direct approach, self-motivational skills, coupled with pleasant and helpful demeanour.

  • Have the skills to build strong relationships with your customers and prospects

  • Ability to achieve agreed KPI's on the most challenging days
