As the Group Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the procurement landscape for our clients' central functions, offering essential support to the Group Director of Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse internal spending to identify savings and optimize spend aggregation.
  
  
• Benchmark supply chain performance against best practices through external market analysis.
  
  
• Develop sourcing strategies for RFx activities, highlighting risk/reward/ROI.
  
  
• Manage stakeholder sourcing and contractual requirements, ensuring expectations are met.
  
  
• Assist the Group Procurement Director with policy development and governance for consistent procurement.
  
  
• Contribute to group savings targets, especially in central cost centres and Capex spending.
  
  
• Create a centralized supplier due diligence process and conduct risk analysis.
  
  
• Simplify the supply chain, reduce supplier numbers, and enhance supplier value.
  
  
• Promote sustainability and innovation in the supply chain, reporting on benefits and trade-offs.
  
  
• Support all audit reviews and legal obligations.
  
  Qualifications & Experience:
  
  
• Extensive dedicated procurement experience with a broad range of procurement expertise.
  
• Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, and presentational.
  
• Strong ability to collaborate and engage with internal and external stakeholders at various seniority levels.
  
• Persuasive and influential with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  
• Analytical and strategic mindset with demonstrable end-to-end sourcing and RFx experience.
  
• Willingness to travel across the UK with potential for occasional international travel.
  
• Experience in global supply chain and international trade regulations is beneficial but not essential.
  
• Degree and CIPS or equivalent are highly beneficial but not essential.
