Barnstaple | Full Time | Permanent | £28,000-£35,000 DOE
Are you a creative with a natural eye for photography and a passion for capturing spaces at their absolute best?
Our well-established, award-winning estate agency client is growing, and they're looking for a Photographer & Videographer to join their team and bring properties to life through standout photography, video and aerial content.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is creative, highly organised and self-disciplined, and who enjoys working independently while being part of a busy and successful team.
The Role
Based from the client's Barnstaple office, you'll spend your days out and about across North Devon, visiting properties and creating high-quality visual content that makes each home stand out.
You'll have plenty of autonomy in the role, managing your own diary and appointments, so you'll need to be someone who can organise themselves, work efficiently and keep things moving without constant supervision.
You'll be responsible for:
Visiting residential properties across North Devon to capture high-quality photography and videography
Creating engaging photo and video content that showcases each property's best features
Using professional cameras, video equipment and drones to produce exceptional property content
Editing photography and video quickly and accurately for use across property portals, websites and social media
Managing your own calendar and booking property appointments
Liaising with sales negotiators and colleagues to coordinate appointments and keep everyone updated on media production
Working to tight deadlines and fast turnaround times without compromising on quality
Producing floor plans, with training provided
Flying drones to capture impressive aerial imagery and video What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines creative flair with excellent organisation and time management.
You'll ideally have:
Professional photography and videography experience, supported by a portfolio of your work
A genuine passion for photography and a natural eye for composition, lighting and detail
Confidence using professional cameras and video equipment
Practical experience with drones and aerial photography
Strong photo and video editing skills
The ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
The self-discipline to manage your own workload, diary and appointments
The ability to identify what makes a property special and capture it in a way that makes people want to see more
A valid driving licence and your own transport
Good local knowledge of North Devon
A qualification or formal training in photography, videography or a related creative discipline would be advantageous
Drone pilot certification or equivalent experience for aerial photography would be beneficial
Experience within property, estate agency or property marketing would be a bonus, but experience in other creative industries will absolutely be considered Most importantly, you'll be someone who can work independently, think creatively and get the job done. If you're naturally organised, quick off the mark and love producing great visual content, we'd love to hear from you.
What's On Offer?
£28,000-£35,000, depending on experience
Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm, with flexibility available
28 days' holiday, including bank holidays
