Harron Homes are looking for experienced Architectural Technician's to join our teams in Yorkshire and Chesterfield.
About the Role
The key purpose of the role is to ensure that the company complies with all relevant Technical and CDM legislation and that the house types comply with building regulations and warranty requirements. The role involves monitoring and reporting progress of developments of house type construction to the Architectural Manager and preparing any architectural drawings necessary to facilitate the construction of developments.
Qualifications
HNC /HND / Degree in Building, Civil Engineering or Architectural design.
Required Skills

  • Excellent architectural experience – particularly house types.
  • Proven track record of delivering Building Control approvals.
  • Understand how the design aspects of a construction project influence and relate to performance and functional issues so that practical questions can be addressed at the outset.
  • Design and planning expertise & technical knowledge.
  • Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Sound working knowledge of Photoshop package.
  • Sound working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of CDM Regulations, LABC/NHBC / Building Regulation requirements, Codes of Practice and Code for Sustainable Homes.
  • Good communication and professional presentation skills.
  • High degree of self-motivation and drive.
  • Persuasion and influencing skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
