JOB DESCRIPTION: Area Sales Manager, Account Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Business Development Manager - Pumps / Chemical
 
This is a Field Sales / Account Manager role that offers you the opportunity to take on a territory sales role where your technical / engineering industry experience will be utilised; using your tenacity and drive in approaching and engaging with clients. We will also welcome applications from Internal Sales professionals who are looking for their first step into field sales.
 
As our Area Sales Manager / Account Manager you will:
· Manage and grow your sales territory by building on existing relationships and developing new business; prospecting via telephone/email and visiting clients on site
· Split your time between account management (60%) and new business development (40%)  
· Have experience of selling into all or any of the nuclear, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
· Use your technical acumen to provide solution-based sales , following up quotations and managing your pipeline.
· Occasionally represent the company at exhibitions, and industry events.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager, Account Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Business Development Manager - Pumps / Chemical
 
We welcome applications from sales professionals with proven business development skills, who have experience of selling technical / engineering solutions; a driven sales professional, keen to roll up their sleeves in an autonomous role.
 
You will:
· Have some kind of exposure to the pump / fluid handling system sector.
· Have influencing skills and a persuasive manner with the ability to get others to 'buy in' to you.
· Be an effective Field Sales / Account Manager maximising upon every opportunity, developing strong relationships with our existing and potential clients whilst managing your own diary.
· Regularly update our CRM system with accuracy and detail.
· Have technical / engineering knowledge and the ability to impart your knowledge confidently to our customers.
 
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:
 
Extensive training will be given in relation to our technical product range and solutions.
