Job Title: Sales Manager – Heavy Machinery
Location: Remote – Field-based (London and surrounding areas, as far north as Watford and as far south as the M25 corridor)
Salary: £45,000-£50,000
OTE: Realistic £60,000+ once established within the business

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our dedicated and expanding team.
The Role:As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our range of heavy machinery products. You’ll balance managing existing accounts with seeking out and securing new business opportunities. Your in-depth understanding of machinery, combined with your sales acumen, will allow you to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs, provide technical support, and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management: Oversee the sales of heavy machinery products, focusing on expanding both new business and existing client relationships.
Customer Solutions: Assess customer requirements and offer personalized machinery solutions to help them meet their operational goals.
Quotations & Orders: Prepare timely and precise quotations and manage the order process from initial inquiry to delivery.
Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance and guidance to customers, ensuring that their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Market Awareness: Stay updated on competitor products and industry trends to strategically position our offerings in the market.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our machinery range to effectively promote their benefits and capabilities to clients.The Ideal Candidate:
Technical Expertise: A background in engineering or a related technical field, ideally with experience in the heavy machinery industry.
Sales Experience: Proven experience in field-based sales, including successful cold calling, lead generation, and new business acquisition.
Self-Motivated: An independent, highly organized self-starter who can manage their own workload and drive performance.
Customer-Centric: You are committed to understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
