  • My client is looking for a dynamic, proactive and successful Area Sales Manager with strong technical aptitude to join their global manufacturing business, selling a range of high calibre fixings, fasteners and power tools to end users, manufacturers / OEM s, contractors, merchants and distributors.
    The Role
  • This is a great opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager and technical sales professional to join a well established global business and brand and be part of their continued success and growth in the UK.
  • With a strong technical background in construction product sales and excellent account management and business development skills, you will sell my clients range of fixings, fasteners and power tools to end users, manufacturers / OEM s, contractors, builders merchants and distributors.
  • Managing and building an existing customer base by proactively developing relationships, based on quality of service and calibre and range of products and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Identifying opportunities to secure new business and differentiate your offering from your competitors, by offering solutions with an excellent range of products.
  • You will work consultatively, to develop a partnership approach with end users, manufacturers / OEM s, contractors, builders merchants and distributors.
    The Candidate
  • As an experienced Area Sales Manager, you will have a technical sales background selling construction products to end users, manufacturers / OEM s, contractors, builders merchants or distributors.
  • You'll be used to dealing with technical aspects and sales of products, understanding the challenges your customers face and providing a solution.
  • This is a genuine opportunity to develop an area and really make the role your own by identifying and harnessing new business; the working environment is one of autonomy requiring a proactive approach to managing the opportunities in the region.
  • Naturally persuasive, creative and self-motivated you will be able to recognise opportunities and use your own initiative to convert these into sales. You will have an open communication style; friendly, conscientious and committed above all you will be a team player.
  • You will possess relevant experience within an industrial or construction environment and will be able to demonstrate previous success in field sales.
