Area to be covered: London & South East (majority of your time in London)
Remuneration: £50,000 - £55,000 negotiable + end of year 5-10% bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Construction & Lifting Equipment will involve:

  • Field sales potion promoting the hire our client’s range of mini cranes, glass lifters, vacuum lifters, glazing robots and other specialist lifting machinery (500 different products)
  • All of your time will be spent selling to tier 2 contractors, glazing contractors, cladding contractors, façade contractors, steel erectors and other specialist sub contractors
  • Contract values can vary from £100 up to £40,000, with an average hire contact value around £10,000-£15,000
  • Targeted to achieve circa £800,000-£1m
  • Predominantly new business development, bur will involve a small number of accounts to manage and also targeting many lapsed/ dormant customers
  • Will have to travel to the HP postcode office every Friday
    The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Construction & Lifting Equipment with:
  • Must have construction field sales experience selling to contractors on site
  • Must have experience selling related products such as plant hire, cranes, lifters, lifting machinery, hydraulics, tools or related product background however not essential
  • No job hoppers
  • High energy/ hard working
  • Able to work autonomously
