Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Domestic Pumps

Industry Sector: Plumbing, Heating, Plumbers Merchants, Renewable Contractors, Plumbing & Heating Contractors, Buying Groups, Building Services, HVAC, Local Authorities and Housing Associations

Area to be covered: London & South East and Anglia

Based; Ideally Home Counties

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + 12.5% uncapped bonus

Benefits: Fully Expensed Plug-In Hybrid Car & Full Benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Domestic Pumps will involve:

  • Field sales role selling manufactured range of domestic pumps

  • Predominantly selling into plumbing and heating merchants, small amount of time stimulating demand with plumbing and heating contractors/ installers

  • Inhering an area with 200+ live accounts, access to 800+ (60% nationals e.g. City Plumbing, UKPS, Plumb City, Wolseley) and 40% independents and buying group members from IPG, Fortis etc.

  • Growing the patch from £1m to £1.6m over the next 3-5 years

  • Four days a week on the road, one day WFH/ admin

  • Typically 45-50 plumbers merchant visits per month

  • Keeping a well organised CRM system

    The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – M&E Building Services with:

  • Proven field sales experience selling into plumbing and heating merchants

  • Open on products e.g. may consider tools field sales experience

  • Knowledge of domestic pumps is not essential as full product training will be provided

  • Stable career history

  • High energy

  • Open to all domestic building services products such as pumps, boilers, valves or other heating and ventilation H&V associated products

  • Technical ability
