The Bid Writer at First Response Group plays a pivotal role in securing new business by leading the creation and coordination of compelling, compliant, and competitive bid submissions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Bid Writer ensures that proposals are strategically aligned, well-crafted, and delivered on time.


Job Opportunity

  • Oversee and drive the entire bid lifecycle, from strategic planning and content creation to pricing strategy and final submission.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to gather critical insights, data, and resources that enhance bid quality and competitiveness.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and engagement throughout the bidding process.
  • Ensure all bid submissions are fully compliant with regulatory standards and tailored to client-specific requirements.
  • Lead bid-related meetings, reviews, and post-submission debriefs, fostering continuous learning and process improvement.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to clients, effectively communicating value propositions and differentiators during the bidding phase.
  • Monitor and evaluate bid performance metrics to identify trends, inform strategy, and drive ongoing improvement.



Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in bid writing, proposal development, or bid management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging content.
