The Role
As Bid Writer, you'll play a crucial role in the development and submission of persuasive bids that unlock funding for Adult Skills and Skills Bootcamp programmes. Working closely with the leadership team and cross-functional departments, you'll be the engine behind successful bids that bring life-changing learning opportunities to thousands across the UK.
Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Leading the creation of compelling bids for public sector and government-funded initiatives

  • Collaborating with internal teams to gather data, evidence, and case studies

  • Ensuring compliance with all funding body requirements

  • Monitoring upcoming opportunities and contributing to strategic decisions

  • Managing a library of bid assets and templates for future use

The Ideal Candidate
You're an experienced Bid Writer who understands the adult education and skills sector inside-out. You bring a strategic mindset, a flair for persuasive writing, and a strong grasp of the funding landscape.
You’ll need:


  • A proven track record of success with Adult Skills Fund, AEB, Skills Bootcamps or similar bids

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex information

  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance requirements

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines

  • A proactive, collaborative, and can-do attitude
