Location: RM3 (On-site parking available)
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum

We are a dynamic and friendly team specializing in delivering high-quality construction services across Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Social Housing, and Public Buildings. With a commitment to excellence, we are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join our team and help us secure new opportunities.

Role Overview:
As a Bid Writer, you will play a critical role in completing bid applications, including Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and proposals for Local Authority, Housing Association, and Public Building projects. You’ll work closely with our existing Bid Team while also managing tasks independently to deliver compelling, high-quality submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit professional bid applications and tender documents, tailored to client requirements.

  • PQQ Completion: Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) accurately and efficiently.

  • Collaboration: Work as part of our friendly Bid Team while also managing tasks independently.

  • Research & Analysis: Gather, analyze, and present information to ensure accurate and persuasive bid submissions.

  • Quality Control: Ensure all submissions are error-free, meet deadlines, and align with company standards.

  • Client Focus: Understand client needs and incorporate them into well-crafted bid responses.

    Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bid writing, ideally within the construction sector.

  • Strong understanding of Local Authority, Housing Association, Social Housing, and Public Building sectors.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.

  • Passion for construction and the ability to contribute from day one.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple deadlines.

    What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary package (£30,000 - £45,000) based on experience.

  • 20 days of holiday plus bank holidays, with additional holiday entitlement after 5 years.

  • On-site parking at our RM3 office.

  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM – 5:00 PM
