Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team in the AI-powered recruitment technology sector. In this role, you will be responsible for lead generation, cold calling, and building relationships with key decision-makers in the recruitment industry. Your efforts will be essential in generating high-quality leads, securing new business, and driving the overall growth of the company.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the company's sales growth by generating new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling. Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients, focusing on building a strong pipeline of leads through cold calling, networking, and targeted outreach. Focus on generating high-quality leads that align with our target market.

  • Cold Calling: Actively reach out to new prospects, including recruitment agencies, HR teams, and corporate decision-makers, to introduce and sell our AI-powered recruitment platform.

  • Relationship Building: Establish strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and demonstrate the value of our AI solutions.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to engage prospects, nurture relationships, and drive sales.

  • Product Presentations & Demos: Schedule and conduct product demos for qualified leads, effectively presenting our AI recruitment platform to potential clients and highlighting its value in streamlining their recruitment processes.

  • Negotiation & Closing: Take ownership of the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and successful transition for new clients.

  • CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of all lead generation activities, client interactions, and sales progress within the CRM system to ensure effective follow-up and strategic planning.

  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and sales targets, contributing directly to company growth and revenue.

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in lead generation, cold calling, and business development, particularly in B2B sales.

  • A strong track record of generating leads and closing deals through cold outreach and relationship building.

  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to engage prospects and explain complex AI-driven solutions clearly and effectively.

  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and motivated by performance-based rewards and high commissions.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, where meeting and exceeding targets is key to success.

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to track leads and manage sales processes.

  • Knowledge of AI technology, recruitment solutions, or HR software is a plus.

  • Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively while building lasting relationships.

Education & Experience:


  • 3+ years of experience in lead generation, business development, or sales, with a strong focus on cold calling and B2B sales.

  • Familiarity with AI technologies, recruitment platforms, or SaaS solutions is a plus but not required.

Working Conditions & Compensation:


  • Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

  • Base Salary: £30,000 per annum

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): £45,000+ (uncapped commission based on sales performance)
