Business Development Manager – Cloud & Managed IT Services

Are you passionate about Cloud technologies and Managed IT Services? Enjoy winning new business and building long-term client relationships? Looking to join a growing MSP where you can really make an impact?

We’re working with an established and ambitious Managed Services Provider (MSP), who are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition across their Cloud, Hybrid IT and Professional Services offerings.

You’ll be joining a high-energy, supportive team with a flexible hybrid working model – one day per week in their London office, the rest from home – with fantastic earning potential and the opportunity to shape your own success.

The role:

  • Focus on new business acquisition across Cloud, Managed IT Services, Professional Services and Hardware

  • Prospect, target and engage new corporate clients (cold calling required)

  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers

  • Develop tailored sales strategies and account plans

  • Effectively position the company’s value proposition in line with customers’ Hybrid IT needs

  • Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting through to deal close and delivery

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM records

  • Meet and exceed sales targets (monthly, quarterly and annual)

  • Stay actively engaged in the IT services and Cloud space – keeping on top of market trends and technology developments

    About you:

  • Proven track record in new business sales within an MSP or IT services environment

  • Confident, tenacious and effective at cold calling and outbound prospecting

  • Strong understanding of the Cloud and IT services landscape, especially Microsoft-based solutions

  • Able to engage senior stakeholders and influence buying decisions

  • Commercially astute with an understanding of P&L

  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven and financially motivated

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with clients and suppliers

  • Able to thrive in both a small office environment and remote (WFH)

  • High energy, positive attitude and professional approach
