Job Purpose & Objectives

As Business Development Manager you’ll work closely with our Senior Leadership team identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving growth through strategic partnerships and collaborations.

o Identifying Opportunities: The QA Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the QA industry, including potential clients, markets, and partnerships.
o Building Relationships: Developing and nurturing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers is essential. This involves understanding client needs, addressing concerns, and building trust to secure long-term partnerships.
o Driving Revenue: Drive revenue growth by effectively selling QA services and solutions to clients. This includes meeting or exceeding sales targets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring profitability.
o Market Expansion: Expanding the company's presence in new markets or industries is a key objective. This involves conducting market research, identifying market trends, and developing strategies to penetrate new segments.
o Promoting Company's Value Proposition: Communicating the company's value proposition and differentiation in the QA market is crucial. This includes highlighting the company's expertise, capabilities, and unique selling points to potential clients.
o Staying Competitive: Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies is essential to stay competitive. The objective is to position the company as a leader in the QA industry and stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities

Identifying New Business Opportunities:
o Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and market segments.
o Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the QA industry.
o Prospect for new business leads through networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
Building and Nurturing Client Relationships:
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
o Understand client needs, challenges, and pain points related to QA.
o Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and requests.
o Address client concerns and provide timely solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
o Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
o Present and pitch QA services and solutions to potential clients.
o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure deals.
o Track sales performance, pipeline, and progress towards targets.
Market Penetration and Expansion:
o Identify opportunities to penetrate new markets or industries.
o Develop strategies to expand the company's presence within existing markets.
o Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:
o Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations within the QA ecosystem.
o Build relationships with industry influencers, associations, and partners.
o Explore opportunities for co-marketing, joint ventures, or cross-selling with partners.
Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:
o Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
o Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
o Use market intelligence to inform sales strategies, pricing decisions, and product development.
Team Collaboration and Support:
o Collaborate with internal teams such as QA engineers, sales, marketing, and product development.
o Provide support and guidance to sales teams on QA-related matters.
o Coordinate with project management teams to ensure smooth delivery of QA services to clients.
Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and business development activities.
o Analyse sales data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
o Present findings and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
