We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at CIRCOR (the “Hale Hamilton Valves”). The commercial manager will play a crucial role in driving profitability and growth for our organization. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies driving improvements in key operational processes to ensure compliance, improve performance and maximize growth. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to build relationships with external customers / internal teams and strong commercial acumen.


You Will:

  • Provide leadership for the Quote and Customer Service teams ensuring target performance levels are met and full visibility of performance against KPIs is maintained.
  • Implement improvements in Contract Review ensuring the process in fully embedded in the company’s ERP system.
  • Work with the Sales team to ensure pricing policy is implemented with pricing updates made available to channel partners and clients on schedule.
  • Work with the Quote Team Lead and Sales Team to ensure quotes are submitted on time in line with agreed TATs and/or bid submission deadlines.
  • Work with the Customer Service team and other stakeholders to ensure timely order acknowledgement and ensure orderbook reviews are held on schedule with key customers.
  • Lead or support contract negotiations with clients as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, legal/contracts, engineering, operations and finance to drive commercial success.
  • In collaboration with Project teams, monitor and manage commercial contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practice.


You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a commercial management role, preferably within an Engineering business.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools, (IFS, CRM Systems, Microsoft Office)
