Electronics Engineer

You will lead a team responsible for testing, diagnosing, and improving the manufacturing process of our advanced imaging products.

You will work closely with design engineers, external manufacturers, and development teams to optimise production yield, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and mentor the production test team, ensuring best practices in hardware testing.
  2. Diagnose faults in hardware assemblies down to component level and collaborate with external manufacturers for resolution.
  3. Improve production processes by working with cross-functional teams on Design for Manufacturing and Design for Test methodologies.
  4. Develop test jigs and specifications for new products in collaboration with R&D engineers.
  5. Ensure compliance with production testing requirements and quality standards.


Required Skills and Experience

  1. Strong expertise in testing analogue and digital circuits to component level, using schematics, automated test equipment, and test specifications.
  2. Experience in production testing and fault diagnosis within precision hardware, optics, imaging, or electronics.
  3. A degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) with relevant industry experience.
