New Groups Sales Specialist Vacancy available in London. As the Groups Sales Specialist you will be responsible for generating revenue by promoting and selling services offered by the company. You will play a crucial role in contracting and bringing on large groups, such as tour groups, corporate groups, incentive groups, and educational groups. The primary focus of this role is to drive group bookings and increase revenue for the organization from the educational sector.

The Job:

Identify and Target Educational Institutions: Research and identify potential schools, colleges, and universities that may be interested in products that we offer
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with schools and educational institutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships
Develop Tailored Educational Programs: Collaborate with the education institutions to develop customized educational programs that align with the curriculum and learning objectives of the target institutions.
Attend Educational Conferences, tradeshows and Events: Represent the institution at educational conferences, workshops, and events to showcase the educational programs, generate leads, and build connections with potential clients.
Sales and Negotiation: Proactively reach out to potential clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to present the company's group sales offerings. Negotiate and close deals to secure group bookings, ensuring profitable revenue for the organization.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with schools and educational institutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships
Develop Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the Commercial Director, Sales team and senior management to develop effective sales strategies and promotional plans to maximize revenue generation from group sales.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, prepare regular sales reports, and provide revenue forecasts to management.
Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead in the competitive landscape.Skills Required:

Previous experience in educational outreach and selling in the educational sector.
Proven experience in travel planning, coordination, and dealing with educational establishments, with a focus on group travel
Knowledge of popular travel destinations in UK, attractions, and activities is advantageous.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to travel for business purposes when required
Excellent presentation and persuasive selling skills.
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the hospitality or event industryThe Package:
