Offering Circa. £80,000 - £85,000 Basic Salary plus Car Allowance, 20% OTE & Great Benefits
Our client is an established and well-respected manufacturing company based in Yorkshire. Currently recruiting a Head of Sales to spearhead their sales division, to develop and execute a sales strategy for the UK markets in line with business objectives. Leading a team that nurtures existing client relationships whilst identifying new client prospects in new and existing markets. The core function of the Head of Sales is to deliver strong team leadership, supporting both individual and team development and growth opportunities.
Head Of Sales – Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and contribute to the business strategic plans, to drive revenue and growth through new business opportunities in new and existing markets whilst expanding existing customer accounts to maximise growth potential.
  • Lead and develop a high performing and forward-thinking sales team.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales efforts.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting to senior leadership.
  • Represent the companies’ values in and outside the workplace.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions with the sales team to provide feedback, address challenges, and recognise achievements.
  • To competently handle all aspects of negotiation, contracts and close deals which increase profitability and/or improve the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Accountable for the Sales and Business Development performance of the Company for Manufacturing and product in terms of targets, costs, budget, quality, compliance and health and safety.
  • Implement sales forecasting and pipeline management processes to accurately predict sales revenues, track sales performance, and identify areas for improvement.
    Head Of Sales – Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role within a transport / vehicle related manufacturing environment - ideal.
  • Experienced managing a territory sales team providing regular support and coaching.
  • Sales track record showing measurable sales results in driving revenue growth through team success.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically.
  • An ability and experience in identifying and engaging with multiple stakeholders and in delivering successful outcomes on projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and close complex deals.
    The Head of Sales position is offering Circa. £80,000 - £85,000 Basic Salary plus Car Allowance, 20% OTE & Great Benefits. This is a full-time, permanent position, working hybrid 2-3 days office based in their Yorkshire office with regular UK travel.
