HR Business Partner - Flagship Site, Brentwood, Essex, £40k-£45k + Car Allowance, Pension, Private Medical, Life Assurance

Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a significant impact?

My Client, a growing business, in the Construction industry is seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Business Partner to join their team at their flagship Site in Brentwood, Essex.

About the Role:

As an HR Business Partner, you will report to the Senior HR Business Partner and play a crucial role in supporting the HR Department to deliver professional, comprehensive services aligned with the strategic business goals. You will be instrumental in driving performance and success across the business by aligning with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cultural change initiatives at their Brentwood site, fostering buy-in and addressing resistance.

  • Utilise an organisation design model for diagnostics and gap analysis, contributing to the organisation's future structure.

  • Support the maintenance of effective employee relationships and facilitate resolutions for any difficulties.

  • Provide coaching, advice, and support to Line Managers on people management.

  • Support the onboarding of new starters and facilitate exit interviews for the Brentwood site.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, line managers, and external partners.

  • Actively participate in meetings, offering insights and ideas, and collaborate closely with departmental managers to understand their challenges.

  • Identify innovation and process improvements within the HR function.

  • Support HR team initiatives and projects, contributing to idea and tool sharing.

  • Conduct ER investigations, disciplinaries, and appeals as required.

  • Support the probation process for new starters at Brentwood.

    What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in change management within a busy HR function.

  • Knowledge of Employment Law, Data Protection, and EDI.

  • A "bigger picture" mindset.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and confidently challenge.

  • A drive for continuous improvement.

  • Persuasive communication skills and the ability to use emotional intelligence.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to challenges effectively.

  • Ability to work at pace.

  • A full driving UK license and flexibility to travel to other offices.

  • The right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not being offered).

  • CIPD Level 5 (minimum) or working towards.

    The opportunity will suit an experienced, robust HR professional, highly aware commercially, able to work unsupervised, able to deal with complex legal ER cases, and outstanding at building relationships within the business.
