Job description The Role We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Internal Sales Account Manager to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with 1–2 years of experience to grow their career in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The primary focus of this role is outbound sales — identifying, contacting, and converting businesses involved in global trade. You’ll build and manage your own customer portfolio and receive full training in freight and logistics. Key Responsibilities Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective clients (importers and exporters) Build and manage a portfolio of active accounts through consistent follow-up and relationship management Identify and offer tailored freight solutions to meet customer needs Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline activity using CRM software Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure a seamless customer experience Meet and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs Stay updated on market trends and developments in the freight and logistics industry What We’re Looking For 1–2 years of previous sales experience (logistics industry experience is a bonus, but not essential) Clear, confident communication skills with a professional and persuasive phone manner A proactive mindset with a strong desire to succeed and close business Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively Eagerness to learn — full training in logistics and freight forwarding will be provided What We Offer Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission Comprehensive training in freight and logistics operations Supportive, collaborative team culture Clear opportunities for career development in a growing company Modern, well-equipped office in Halesowen Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension Free parking On-site parking Schedule: Monday to Friday
