Proving 1st to 3rd line technical support for Windows suites and technology
£DoE + Benefits; South Cambridgeshire
Joining a small cyber team who are part of this growing tech start-up, the IT Support Engineer will provide internal assistance to a wide range of teams within the company including IT support, infrastructure management and endpoint security (networking, device management and cybersecurity). The role will expand as the company grows, thus there will be opportunities to lead and support technical projects and take a proactive role in improving overall infrastructure.
As part of the IT support team, you will provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support to both onsite and remote users. You will manage and support: MS 365 suite services; administration of MS Azure services; use of MS Intune and Autopilot; and perform routine Windows Server maintenance and performance tuning. Further you will provide administration and support of hybrid telephony systems including MS Teams.
Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Windows IT support (1st to 3rd line).
  • Explicit experience with MS Office 365, Intune, Autopilot, and Active Directory.
  • Hands-on experience with Veeam backups and virtualisation.
  • Good understanding and experience of networking hardware using Aruba and ClearPass.
  • Experience with test system methodologies.
  • Additional experience with PowerShell scripting, Server builds and security compliance, AV / telephony systems would be desirable.
    Note, this role is fully onsite. As public transport is limited, having your own vehicle to commute to offices is advantageous.
    The role would suit someone who enjoys being in a team, working with a wide range of people but has the experience to work solo on projects.
