Our client is a market leader in energy management, providing expert services across energy procurement, tenant re-billing, energy validation, and sustainability solutions. They are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Key Account Manager to manage several of their most prestigious clients—total account value is worth approximately £500k annually.

The Role: Key Account Manager

As a Key Account Manager, you will be the primary relationship holder for high-value clients, ensuring the smooth delivery of services and identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell from the company’s broad portfolio of energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Key Account Manager

  • Take ownership of multiple flagship accounts valued at c£500k per annum (total)

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, delivering a premium service

  • Identify and drive account growth opportunities through additional services

  • Manage client projects from onboarding to service delivery, including metering and energy assessments

  • Act as the liaison between the client and internal teams (BD, Operations, and Senior Management)

  • Provide clients with ongoing market insights, guidance, and forecasting

  • Support the development of new accounts as needed

    About You: Key Account Manager

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in account management (energy industry preferred but not essential)

  • Strong commercial awareness with a consultative and persuasive approach

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Confident presenting tailored solutions to high-value clients

  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure

  • Skilled in Excel and able to use bespoke systems to track and report activity

  • Flexible to some travel from time to time
