Land Surveyor Position (Tier 1)Our client, a prominent player in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Land Surveyor & Senior Land Surveyor to join their team for a Tier 1 reputable project based in the Brackley area. This is a permanent role, providing a fantastic opportunity to work on critical infrastructure and highway projects.Key Responsibilities:Supporting the Senior Land Surveyor in establishing and maintaining the site survey control networkUndertaking land, topographic, hydrographic, and measured building surveysUsing specialist equipment and technology such as robotics and 3D scannersAnalysing data using plans, maps, charts, and software like AutoCAD, Trimble Business Centre, and GIS programsPreparing survey drawings and presenting data to clientsWriting reports and presenting findingsCoordinating with Site Engineers for project implementations, plan changes, and rectification workSetting out and conducting as-built surveys, topographical and engineering surveysManaging the registration and post-processing of Point Cloud DataPerforming GNSS network surveying, precise traversing, and precise levellingManaging drone surveys for earthwork measuresJob Requirements:HND/degree in Land Survey, Geomatics, or equivalentExperience in a similar role with similar responsibilitiesExperience in preparing survey-related Method Statements and Risk AssessmentsExpert knowledge of Trimble total stations, levels, and GNSS receiversExcellent AutoCAD skills for producing 2D and 3D drawingsGood communication skills, both written and verbalSolid report writing and compilation skillsProficiency in using survey software like Trimble Business CentreFull driving licence requiredBenefits:Competitive salaryOpportunities for professional development and trainingSupportive and collaborative work environmentEmployee benefits packageIf you are an experienced Land Surveyor looking for a new opportunity to further your career, we would love to hear from you.
