LEAD GENERATOR / APPOINTMENT SETTING – New Business Development Executive
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Redhill or Homebased
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week / Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum plus commission package (uncapped)

    The Role - Lead Generation Appointment Setting:
    Researching and qualify leads, updating CRM in an efficient, professional and timely manner. You will generate leads and book face to face, Teams or Zoom meetings with decision makers and senior influencers within corporate businesses for our Sales Director.
    Responsibilities:
  • Prime responsibility is outbound calling from our prospect database to make face-to-face or Teams appointments for the new business sales team with the person who is responsible for the purchase of Electricity, Natural Gas, Water, and Net-Zero/Sustainability requirements.
  • Qualify prospects by either energy expenditure/annual usage.
  • Updating the CRM database to reflect the latest information, e.g., call-back, meeting date, energy contract renewal dates, existing TPI, etc.
  • Assist in the general drive towards promoting specific services and campaigns as required, e.g. email marketing.
  • Use initiative to identify and follow up on opportunities with companies not already in the CRM database in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Proactively follow up leads to set appointments to meet monthly targets.
  • Attend internal review meetings/conference calls with the Sales Director.
    Person Specification:
  • Track record of outbound calling from the prospect database and setting of appointments.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Target driven & determined.
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office, general business experience.
  • Ability to persuade and influence effectively at all levels.
  • Enthusiastic, finding new ways to generate leads and appointments.
  • Reliable, consistent performance.
  • Team player
