Remarkable Jobs are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable estate agency in the heart of Reading. We are seeking an ambitious Lettings Negotiator to join their successful team in Central Reading, RG1 1LZ. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is looking to build a rewarding career in property lettings.

Lettings Negotiator Role:
As a Lettings Negotiator, you’ll be the face of the lettings team – helping prospective tenants find their ideal home, and landlords secure the best tenants. You’ll play a vital role in managing the full rental process from initial enquiry through to move-in, and will be rewarded with a highly competitive commission structure for your success.

Lettings Negotiator Key Responsibilities:

Registering prospective tenants and understanding their needs

Arranging and conducting property viewings

Liaising with landlords and maintaining strong relationships

Negotiating tenancy terms and processing rental applications

Achieving and exceeding monthly lettings targets

Managing tenancy progression through to move-in

Keeping up to date with lettings legislation and compliance requirements

What They Are Looking For:

Essential:

Previous experience in a lettings or sales role (estate agency preferred)

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Driven, target-oriented and motivated by commission

Confident and professional with a proactive attitude

Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

Local knowledge of Reading and surrounding areas

ARLA qualification or desire to complete it

Lettings Negotiator Key Attributes:

Personable, persuasive and highly organised

Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Team player with a can-do attitude
