Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team in Godalming. As the Marketing Manager, you will lead Scitech’s marketing efforts, driving strategic initiatives to enhance our brand presence, engage customers, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans aligned with Scitech’s service provision and objectives. You will drive the development of the Scitech brand and its placement. Your role will involve designing and managing marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising platforms, alongside conducting market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. You will also be tasked with creating marketing materials, writing publication articles, presentations, website content, and social media posts, while improving Scitech’s visibility through SEO and SEM strategies. Measuring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives through metrics and analytics, managing campaign budgets, and making data-driven decisions to optimise future campaigns will be integral to your role.

Additionally, you will work closely with the sales and proposals team to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts, enhance customer engagement through targeted strategies, and stay updated on the latest marketing trends and technologies.

Technical Competencies

Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media advertising.
Expertise in social media marketing, content marketing, and email marketing.
Proficiency with marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with different departments to ensure timely delivery.
Strong understanding of customer needs and behaviours.
Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and ability to design visually appealing marketing materials.
Commitment to staying updated with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
