Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled quality compliance engineer to ensure that our products conform to the highest quality standards our customers trust King to deliver.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure strict adherence to manufacturing standards, conducting audits as required

  • Develop quality plans and oversee implementation and compliance with customer hold/witness points

  • Perform component and assembly inspections, this includes at customer premises as required

  • Develop and implement technical procedures, researching standards and purchasing necessary equipment to demonstrate compliance with customer requirements.

  • Produce and revise procedures and systems to maintain/gain certification

  • Update type approval homologation, certification documentation and maintain conformity of production.

  • Investigate non-conformances with quality department and ensure effective corrective actions

  • Develop and update product manuals

  • Ensure implementation of external contractor recommendation reports such as UKCA/CE

  • Production of lifetime record packs to demonstrate compliance to contractual and quality standards

    Experience and Qualifications required:

  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and auditing processes

  • Ability to self-teach new subjects and develop implementable processes and procedures

  • Strong technical writing ability

  • A good understanding of heavy manufacturing principles.

  • Exceptional IT skills

  • Highly organised and methodical approach/finisher completer/able to multitask/manage and deliver multiple improvement projects.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and written with the ability to listen, engage and persuade, and to convey conceptual and complex ideas and information.

  • Creative, practical problem solver.

  • Record of achievement - Proven track record of success in similar role.
