Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled quality compliance engineer to ensure that our products conform to the highest quality standards our customers trust King to deliver.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Ensure strict adherence to manufacturing standards, conducting audits as required.
  2. Develop quality plans and oversee implementation and compliance with customer hold/witness points.
  3. Perform component and assembly inspections, including at customer premises as required.
  4. Develop and implement technical procedures, researching standards and purchasing necessary equipment to demonstrate compliance with customer requirements.
  5. Produce and revise procedures and systems to maintain/gain certification.
  6. Update type approval homologation, certification documentation and maintain conformity of production.
  7. Investigate non-conformances with quality department and ensure effective corrective actions.
  8. Develop and update product manuals.
  9. Ensure implementation of external contractor recommendation reports such as UKCA/CE.
  10. Production of lifetime record packs to demonstrate compliance to contractual and quality standards.

Experience and Qualifications required:

  1. Strong understanding of quality management systems and auditing processes.
  2. Ability to self-teach new subjects and develop implementable processes and procedures.
  3. Strong technical writing ability.
  4. A good understanding of heavy manufacturing principles.
  5. Exceptional IT skills.
  6. Highly organised and methodical approach/finisher completer/able to multitask/manage and deliver multiple improvement projects.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and written with the ability to listen, engage and persuade, and to convey conceptual and complex ideas and information.
  8. Creative, practical problem solver.
  9. Record of achievement - Proven track record of success in similar role.
