    The Role
  • Seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to oversee and deliver geospatial data capture projects.
  • Managing complex survey and inspection projects using drones, helicopters, handheld laser scanning equipment, and traditional terrestrial surveying technologies.
  • Overseeing the full project lifecycle: client onboarding, scoping, fieldwork coordination, data processing, quality assurance, and final delivery.
  • Hands-on management role requiring technical insight, operational awareness, and excellent communication skills.
    Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Project Management of geospatial data capture projects across infrastructure, utilities, and construction sectors.
  • Coordination of Survey Operations including drone flights, laser scanning, and other capture methods using in-house teams and subcontractors.
  • Client Liaison – understanding client requirements, providing technical advice, and managing expectations.
  • Scheduling and Resource Allocation – planning survey work, coordinating staff, equipment, and logistics.
  • Data Workflow Oversight – managing the processing and delivery of photogrammetry, lidar, laser scan, and other spatial datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Risk and Safety Management – ensuring compliance with internal procedures and relevant legislation (e.g. CAA regulations, HSE).
  • Reporting to Management on project progress, issues, budgets, and outcomes using standardised tools and formats.
  • Quality Control – ensuring outputs meet the companies’ high standards before delivery to clients.
  • Continuous Improvement – contributing to the development of the geospatial service offering and collaborating to improve processes and tools.
    What We’re Looking For
    Strongly Preferred:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in:
    • Geomatics / Geospatial Science
    • Surveying / Land or Engineering Surveying
    • Civil Engineering / Remote Sensing
    • Geography with GIS or related geospatial disciplines
  • Formal project management qualification, such as:
    • APM PMQ (Association for Project Management)
    • PRINCE2 Practitioner
    • PMP (Project Management Professional)
