The Role:

Saab UK is seeking a dynamic and highly organised Events Manager to plan, coordinate and deliver a range of high-profile events to showcase our portfolio of products. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of exhibitions, trade shows, and corporate events. This role requires a proactive individual with proven experience in exhibition stand delivery and general event management.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organise, and deliver a variety of events, including but not limited to RIAT, DSEI, Combined Naval Event, Ocean Business, Global Offshore Wind, Oceanology, and Saab UK's annual summer stakeholder party

Manage all aspects of event logistics, from booking the stand to delivering the show

Work closely with internal stakeholders to determine event objectives and ensure the right products, services, and messages are showcased effectively

Liaise with external suppliers, including stand designers, logistics providers, and venue operators, to ensure seamless event execution

Oversee the creation and layout of exhibition stands, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives

Coordinate the shipping and set-up of models, marketing materials, and technical equipment

Manage on-site event execution, ensuring all operational aspects run smoothly and troubleshooting any issues that arise

Collaborate with the brand team to support event promotion and post-event analysis

Monitor event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality

Ensure all events comply with health and safety regulations and company policies

Experience and Skills Required:

Proven experience in delivering exhibition stands and managing large-scale events

Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Experience working with external agencies, suppliers, and designers to deliver high-quality event experiences

Ability to manage logistics, including transport, set-up, and dismantling of stands and equipment

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments

Knowledge of budgeting and cost control within event planning

The ability to travel and be on-site for event setup, execution and take down as required
