💰 Salary: £30,000 basic + 2% commission on sales (OTE: £60,000–£80,000)

Role Summary:

As an Internal Renewable Energy Consultant, you’ll play a key role in converting qualified leads into satisfied customers by delivering expert guidance and bespoke renewable energy solutions. From initial consultation through to proposal and sale, you will be a trusted advisor helping homeowners make informed, future-ready energy choices.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Conversion & Customer Consultation



Engage with warm leads to assess their energy needs and property suitability.

Conduct remote consultations and provide recommendations for solar PV, battery storage, and complementary technologies such as air-source heat pumps.

*

Ensure all consultations are compliant with MCS regulations and industry best practices.

System Design & Proposal Development:

*

Create detailed, accurate proposals using industry-standard tools.

*

Present system designs and costings clearly and confidently, tailored to each customer’s needs.

*

Collaborate with the Operations Team to confirm technical viability and customer expectations.

Sales Process & CRM Management:

*

Convert proposals into confirmed sales through consistent follow-up and persuasive, value-driven communication.

*

Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, tracking lead progress and scheduling timely follow-ups.

*

Help optimise conversion rates through strategic and responsive sales practices.

Compliance, Learning & Market Support:

*

Ensure all system proposals meet regulatory standards.

*

Provide feedback to the Marketing Team to align campaigns with customer demand and market trends.

*

Stay informed about new technologies and industry developments in solar and renewable energy.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

*

Minimum 1 year of B2C sales experience, ideally within the renewable energy or home improvement sectors.

*

Solid understanding of solar PV systems, battery storage, and broader renewable energy technologies.

*

Strong communication, consultative selling, and proposal-writing skills.

*

Comfortable working with CRM systems and remote sales tools.
